My son was in the pit orchestra and many friends were on the stage for the first weekend of performances of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. They all did a fantastic job. Mike and I were ushers on Friday night and today I went to see it with my mom. So much hard work – such a great reward.

BTW the lighter colored green blobs on the right hand page were created using a kale leaf painted with gesso for my first experiment with a gesso resist. I think this technique is irresistible.
