A pictorial record of life as I see it.
home of the elusive trope
A familiar cat thing. The cat cannot be let out of the bag, it will have to let itself out, and it won’t until it wants to, if it’s like my cat! I love this.
I have actually left this bag in a sunny spot on the floor because it seems to make him so happy. It has been there for a week! Such simple happiness and for this I am grateful.
Our cat Raquel, who died earlier this year, loved cardboard boxes in this same way (turned on their sides) or even just a piece of cardboard to lie on. I remember we had one in the living room for weeks because she liked it so much. When she died, she chose to go into a cardboard box for this. That made me feel good that she was comfortable and safe feeling, and also it seemed to close out the circle of her life, somehow, that she did that.
