Here is a mandala I made using differently colored paper circles that I embellished. I have included a few photos of the process as well. It is quite simple and very rewarding.
I have an old paper cutting system from Creative Memories that is very helpful in cutting the circles in graduated sizes. In the photo on the right you can see how I line up the circles with the grid on the cutting mat to help make the marks symmetrical. I also trace each circle on the one below as a guide.
Happy Holidays and I hope you have a beautiful day.
Oh! This is just lovely!. And you know, I like the off-centered version very well, too. Thanks for showing the process.
Thanks. I have found that I really like it when others share the process so I’m trying to do it more often.
Beautiful mandala, Jeanette. Happy Holidays!
Thank you! And happy holidays to you too!
Now there’s a nice piece of syncretism. I like it. 🙂
Thank and thanks for the gift of a new vocabulary word. I love to get new words and this one is great for this time of year. For those of you, like me, unfamiliar with syncretism – the amalgamation or attempted amalgamation of different religions, cultures, or schools of thought. Is the definition according to Google.
Happy holidays to you too. 😀
Lovely! Thanks for showing the process. 🙂
You are welcome. This is the good influence of bloggers I admire. Thanks for the kind words!
