Thanks to Cee for the photo that inspired this painting! Here are links to both of her photography sites. She has provided a lot of inspiration for my art and encouraged my photography as well. Thanks Cee!
Her photo of Mount Hood reminded me of the simple landscapes I have been painting in my Simple Paintings series. The others are all from this book.
I am so happy to be able to apply what I have learned from this book into my painting so easily!
I hope you have a beautiful day.
Oh how pretty. You are so talented and amazing. 😀
Thank you ❤

Jeanette over at Lunanista has been doing a real fun series of simple paintings. She has even got me thinking I could start to paint or draw. I love the fact she is using an old dictionary as paper. Anyhow, she has painted on of my photos I have on my Showcase blog.
Thank you so much. I’m so happy to have inspired you as you have inspired me greatly. I hope you do start painting and/or drawing. I look forward to seeing what you do. I know you have an eye for color and composition!
I don’r know why I hesitate but I sure do.
Jump in! The water is fine. If you want suggestions on a starting place, I’m happy to help. You journal regularly, don’t you? An art journal may be a good place to start. I worked in my art journal for quite a while before working on “paintings” and it was a great way to dip a toe in. 🙂
