On our way to Wisconsin last week we stopped at the Baha’i House of Worship in Chicago. I had wanted to go there for ages and I’m so glad we did.
Here is a photo with a robin and a security guard and a reflection in the fountain.
The details of the building are so beautiful. And so are the doorways.
If you want to see more beautiful and interesting doors, check out Thursday Doors at Norm 2.0.
I hope you have a beautiful day.
WOW. Your last photo is impressive.
Thank you. I have been wanting to have a photo shoot with this building for years. In the summer they have glorious flowers, too. But I’m glad I finally made it!
As I always say, it’s hard to go wrong with places of worship. This is a beautiful and very impressive building 🙂
Yes, this one has been on my list of places I wanted to visit/photograph. It was so beautiful and peaceful inside, too.
What a lovely building.
I love architecture in general and churches in particular and this one is particularly beautiful. I’m planning on using some of the motifs in a mandala in the near future.
beautiful building.
Thank you. I agree.
Splendid pictures, Jeanette! The Baha’i is one of my favorite places to visit and if, like me, you love this type of architecture, try to go to the Hindu temple in Bartlett. I’m so glad you got to visit this beautiful building.
I attended a mediation here when I lived in Chicago 🙂
