So here are the doors that I didn’t include (and a few that I did) in yesterday’s post about Providence. The door with the white “fence” is on the campus of Rhode Island School of Design (RISD.)
This old bank is so lovely. I really like the anchors on the doors.
This old house was moved to this location – seemed like a strange option to Mike and I. The gate was my favorite part.
Here is the letter box door again because I love it.
These are my 2 favorite doors from Gillette Castle.
To see doors from around the world check out Norm 2.0’s Thursday Doors challenge.
These doors are all very beautiful, especially the bank doors.
Thank you. Providence was full of wonderful architecture.
That bank really rocked. It was a wonderful building in such a great setting!
Some more wonderful finds here. The bank is gorgeous, of course – I love that old letter box too. Nice post 🙂
Thanks! I am so happy to have fellow door enthusiasts to share them with!
Wow, that mail box – wish I could afford that one:) I love your shot on the left (2nd row) with the three black doors! It has stature!
Saw your name – the difference between you and me is one n:)
I was born in Providence, when my father was doing his PhD at Brown. We left before I was old enough to remember it though. Thanks!
I’m glad to give you a peak at it! I believe the Unitarian church is just a few blocks from Brown. It is such a lovely city.
