I’m not 100% sure these are the same zinnia, but I took the lower one in the evening and the upper one in bright morning light. I find the differences interesting. For more flowers check out Cee’s Flower of the Day.

These light contrasts flower pictures intrigue me and I love the array of colors one flower can have. A different look for each hour of the day!
I have been wanting to do this. I wish I had more flowers in my yard to do it more in depth. Also the arboretum has a lot of trees (oddly enough) and both morning and evening golden hour light is blocked. I love playing with light with the camera. I keep forgetting to do the unfocused pictures!
