My dietary limitations have increased so when I saw this lovely bouquet at the grocery store I said to my husband, “I can have that.” And we got them. There are some really interesting plants in the arrangement that we thought were fake, but they are not.

I have been absent and will continue to be absent from blogging because of escalating health problems. I was hospitalized again for depression, mostly so we could safely change one of my main medications. While there I was tentatively diagnosed with endometriosis. So, my high pain tolerance has led to a late diagnosis for this and that is not good. Wednesday I meet with the newest doctor to see about surgery. My life is full of pain and there doesn’t seem to be much they can do if surgery doesn’t work. If you pray, please pray for me and for everyone who is living with chronic pain.

For more flowers and beauty in general see Cee’s photography blog.

Another piece for the show. I will post a gallery of them once everything is delivered to the physical gallery.

Mandala 52 of 100. This mandala is for the Dunya exhibit at Alhamra Art Center in Bernardsville, NJ, October 14, 2017- November 15, 2017.

DUNYA is a word common to many languages like Urdu, Arabic, Persian, Turkish. It has many layers of meanings. It can mean the ‘world’, the ‘earth’, the ‘society’ or ‘humankind’, the ‘mortal existence’.
