Here is some miscellaneous art I have just completed. I will update my gratitude journal tomorrow. I started the painting of the flowers during a fun painting class on Friday evening. I had the idea of Zentangling the center flower and finished it this morning. I was inspired by the Diva’s (Not) Challenge this week and the design for the flowers came together quickly inspired by that prompt. The prompt is based on the current Zentangle newsletter from Rick and Maria. They each have their own style of the tangle pattern flux and I used a little of each in this Zentangle Inspired Art.
This mandala came from a silly series of facebook posts. The Hamsters and Hawaii Mandala.

Your flowers are so glossy looking…I love the brilliant red, too. Very pretty
I love your interpretation of flux. I fill in teardrop shapes like you used, but I had not thought of them as a tangleation of flux. The things we learn from the Diva Challenge. Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to comment!
So pretty.
Thank you.
Pretty flowers. Cute mandala, the center has a kaleidoscope feel to it.
Beautifully done. I love the combination of the painting and the tangles.
Thanks. I love to mix things up.
This is a piece of art to be proud of. I love the red color of the flowers on the grey background. The hearts of the flowers are beautiful tangled, and your flux is awesome simple and therefor very beautiful. Well done!
Thank you. Your tiles have lovely depth to them.
Lovely!
Thanks, yours is too.
Really beautiful and confident strokes of your pen. I love the red, too!
Thanks for the kind words. I love your collages, especially the house.
Love the flowers. I like the gray background with the texture of the canvas.
Thanks! I had so much fun with this background – it was one of my favorite things about this class. I’m going to use this combination of techniques again soon. I like your flux tile, too.
Really pretty! I love how you incorporated Zentangle into your painting. I’ve been mulling that over a bit, too, but so far have not gone that route. You inspire me!
Thank you for taking the time to comment. I love to incorporate Zentangle into whatever I can. Give it a try!
What a beautiful painting! Love the combination of colors…that red is so great! I am finding so much inspiration from every posting.
Thank you for your kind words. I am so happy to be able to inspire you! I know I have received so much inspiration from so many others. Gratitude and creativity are even better when shared.
Beautiful flowers!
Thanks! I liked your Easter egg a lot.
