Congratulations to Laura Harms the Zentangle Challenge Diva on 200 Challenges!
What an accomplishment. I am so grateful for the fun and opportunities for growth and community that she has provided. She challenged us to use one Zentangle pattern and go off the page “Let’s extend from end to end, and fill our tiles BURSTING with Tangly JOY!” That really capture the enthusiasm of the Diva. I tried to do my best Onamato Zendala I could come up with. Then I got out my Inktense pencils and played! Laura this one is for you! Thank you!

Thanks! Watercolor pencils are so fun (and generally safe) to play with in Zentangles. Thanks for sharing your lovely tangled leaves and grapes on your blog. I find when watercolor goes awry it can be the beginning of a beautiful collage. There is so much that is beautiful in your Jan 10th work!

I really wanted to capture “joy” Zentangling has brought me lots of joy and the art of the community has also inspired me with joy.

Several people have told me about Zentangling. I am thinking of taking a class in it.

I have not managed to take a class yet, but I have bought a number of books. There are excellent websites, too. If you go to the Diva’s website she has tutorials and links to so many other resources, too. I engage in a number of mindfulness practices and finding this one has really enriched my life.

Thank you, this sounds great. I hadn’t thought of the internet or books (my mind moves slowly sometimes…) Thanks.
